"Paris has always boasted some of the best shopping in the world, and now the City of Light has yet another world-renowned store to add to its heady inventory. On December 5, the first Stella McCartney store in Paris opened, but the occasion will officially be feted next week on January 28 at designer’s intimate new digs located in the Jardins du Palais Royal. “I’ve always wanted a shop in Paris, ever since I was young, it’s like a dream having a shop in Paris,” says McCartney of her new venture. To commemorate the special event, she has designed a limited-edition T-shirt emblazoned with an Eiffel Tower print inside an ace of hearts—a subtle allusion to the iconic I Heart NY logo. Luckily, those of us who are stateside can still get in on the celebration: besides being sold in London and Paris, the T will retail this side of the pond for $145 at the flagships stores in New York and Los Angeles.
